THE RORIGAZOs

I've been checking on my mails everyday at night after work. It has been my routine since Mamang died. It maybe my way of remembering her and it is in her memory that I kept on doing these things. One mail which caught my attention recently is the letter of Manang Shirley concerning Tiyo'y Poling.

Napoleon Zulueta Arrieta, a native of Libacao, Aklan, a member of the Philippine Bar, former Personnel Manager and a leader of the Employees Association of the Government Service Insurance System during his time, the husband of Elpha Paculan Rodrigazo, Tiya'y Elpha, has been sickly recently. It's been over five years (if my memory serves me right) that he has been suffering from Parkinson's disease. I was informed that he is now confined in his bed at their home in Libacao. I hope and I believe that he is always in our prayers before we go to bed each night.

Actually, I prepared a series of presentation for the month of July in commemoration with Mamang's birthday. July is memorable to all of us. It is the month when Mamang, Tiya'y Elpha and Tiya'y Estella got married. It is Mamang's birthday too, comes the 20th of the month. Herewith is a video clip I made two years ago about the Rodrigazo's: a prelude to the video I took of the 50th wedding anniversy of the three of them.
